UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS EXTENSION MASTER GARDENER'S TO ASSIST THE PUBLIC WITH HORTICULTURAL QUESTIONS AT LOCAL FARMER'S MARKETS THIS SUMMER

Do you have horticultural questions about your lawn, trees, shrubs, vegetable garden, or perennial and annual gardens? Would you like information related to container gardening, herb gardening, perennial garden design or composting? Are you in need of a diagnosis for what ails your plants, lawn, trees, or shrubs? Would you like to learn more about the University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Program and how you can get involved? Then come visit us this summer at one of our booths at your local Farmer's Market! Master Gardeners will be present on the following dates, times and locations throughout the summer to answer the above questions, provide resources, and more:

 

Princeton Farmer's Market

Location: 439 South Main Street, Princeton, IL

Dates: July 20th, August 17th, September 21st

Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

Spring Valley Farmer's Market

Location: Intersection of Dakota (US Route 6) & Cornelia Streets next to the Tastee Freez, Spring Valley, IL

Dates: July 24th, August 21st, September 25th

Time: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

 

Ottawa Old Town Farmer's Market

Location: Jackson Street, Ottawa, IL

Dates: July 20th, August 17th, September 21st

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

 

Oglesby Farmer's Market

Location: East Walnut Street (Senica's Square), Oglesby, IL

Dates: July 11th, 18th, and 25th, and August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

Time: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
