YQCA Training offered at Illinois Valley Community College

Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) is a national multi-species quality assurance program for youth ages 8 to 21 with a focus on three core pillars: food safety, animal well-being, and character development.

Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, and Putnam county 4-H programs will offer in-person workshop on Saturday, March 21st from 10:30 am – Noon at Illinois Valley Community College’s Cultural Centre.  This training is required of 4-H members showing pigs, beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, market rabbits, and poultry.  Pre-registration is required by visiting www.yqca.org
