Michelle joined the University of Extension team in January 2023 as the Office Support Specialist for Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, and Putnam Counties. Michelle supports the Extension County Director, staff, and oversees fiscal services. She loves interacting with staff from the entire unit and the business office on campus. She tries always to have a collaborative approach and a willingness to learn from others.
She has a husband, 2 daughters, 2 dogs, 1 puppy, 2 cats, 1 kitten and a snake. Their house is a "zoo" and they love the fact that animals outnumber the humans.
Her dream is to someday have a rescue to help and foster animals until they find forever homes. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family, traveling, spending time at Lake Michigan, cooking, and hanging out with her “fur babies.”
