Shasta Hladovcak is a passionate 4-H Youth Development Educator dedicated to empowering youth through experiential learning and leadership development. With a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Shasta brings a deep understanding of educational design and teaching strategies to create impactful programs that foster life skills, critical thinking, and community engagement.
In their role, Shasta works collaboratively with community partners, volunteers, and families to deliver diverse 4-H programming, including STEM, agriculture, civic engagement, and healthy living initiatives. Their expertise in curriculum development ensures that each program is tailored to meet the unique needs of youth while promoting positive personal growth.
With years of experience in youth development and education, Shasta is committed to helping young people discover their potential and make meaningful contributions to their communities. Outside of work, Shasta enjoys hiking, traveling, crafting, and spending time with family and friends finding inspiration in the creativity and resilience of the 4-H participants they serve.
She is a member of the National Association of Extension 4-H Youth Development Professionals and the Illinois Extension Professionals for Youth Education.
