Lauren Sharp supports 4-H development in the Illinois counties of Bond, Clinton, Jefferson, Marion and Washington. Lauren holds a master’s degree in AgriBusiness, along with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science with an emphasis in Food Animal Production from Murray State University. Before joining the Illinois Extension team, she was an instructor and swine farm manager at Murray State University. While there, Lauren taught undergraduate students how to manage a farrow-to-finish operation, raise show pigs, and to perform proper animal husbandry.
