Ingredients
½ cup chopped almonds
½ cup Splenda
1 cup flour
2 eggs
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
non-stick baking spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place foil on baking sheet and spray with non-stick baking spray.
- Combine almonds, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Combine Splenda, eggs, and flavorings. Combine the two mixtures.
- Form 2 logs about 5 inches long and place on baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Cool for 15 minutes.
- Cut each log into 7 diagonal slices. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes.
