Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¾ cup water
- ? cup Splenda brown sugar blend
- ¼ cup molasses
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
- Cooking spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°. Spray an 8 inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
- Combine flour baking powder and soda, and spices in medium bowl.
- Combine water, sugar, molasses and applesauce in another bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing well.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut into 9 squares.
