Southwestern Slaw

Ingredients
  • 3 cups shredded cabbage
  • ½ cup grated carrot
  • ¼ cup sliced green onions
  • 2/3 cup finely diced green bell pepper
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 tablespoons salsa
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Dash of salt and pepper
Directions
  • Combine cabbage, carrots, onions and bell pepper in large bowl.
  • Make dressing by combining celery seed, vinegar, oil, salsa, sugar, salt and pepper in small bowl. Mix until sugar is dissolved.
  • Pour dressing over cabbage mixture and toss until well coated.
  • Cover and store in refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
