MyPI is a disaster preparedness training and certification program for teens that fosters emergency preparedness, civic responsibility, and leadership in teens. 

Participants learn about disaster preparedness, fire safety and suppression, lifesaving skills, search and rescue, and disaster psychology. In the process they gain leadership experience, communication skills, teamwork abilities, decision making tools, community involvement experience, career training, and CPR/AED certification.

Training will be held on Monday evenings for 12 weeks starting on January 6 at the University of Illinois Extension Office in Nashville, IL.
