The land-grant university model is sometimes described as a three-legged stool, supported by the mission of education, research, and extension. This webinar will share a series of short presentations from collaborative teams of extension educators and campus faculty who have created successful projects combining the three missions - from service learning to citizen science.
This webinar is one in a series of information sessions for the Interdisciplinary Collaborations in Extension (ICE) grant program, open to UIUC and Extension employees. Prospective partners and grant applicants will have the opportunity to learn about existing Extension programs in the disciplines featured, as well as upcoming research priorities identified by public stakeholders and communities across Illinois.
