Why join the club?

- Share a garden plot at the Woodstock Community GREENS with other 4-H members!
- Meet new friends who like to grow things.
- Receive seeds for your own garden/pots from the Master Gardener Seed Library!
- Join 4-H!
Who:
- Open to both Current and NEW to 4-H youth
- Youth ages 8-18 (finishing 3rd grade and up)
- Youth ages 5-7 (with adult) (finishing K-2nd grade)
- Based on age as of September 1, 2021
Meeting Topics Include :
- Basic Plant Science
- General Soils
- Planting Seeds
- Grow Boxes/Weeding
- How does your garden grow?
Where:
- First meeting will be held at the Woodstock Community GREENS garden plot OR Extension office in McHenry County Farm Bureau Building depending on weather.
- All other meetings will be held at the Woodstock Community GREENS located on Castle Rd near Waterleaf Lane (by Farm & Fleet) Or Extension
When:
- Saturday: May 21, June 4 at 10am
- Tuesdays: June 21, July 19, August 16 at 10am
- At least one additional meeting TBD

Adults are always encouraged to stay and learn with their kids! Cloverbud (5-7) aged youth MUST have an adult onsite with them at all times.
If you are NEW to 4-H, become a member of Illinois 4-H completing the 4-H Online enrollment and joining the 4-H Garden SPIN Club! See the 4-H Online Enrollment guide for instructions on how to enroll or go to https://v2.4honline.com/ to get your enrollment started. The annual Illinois 4-H member fee is $20 per youth or $60 per family.
