Livestock Skill-a-thon

Youth will have the opportunity to test their knowledge on livestock and livestock-related topics through interactive stations. 

Activities Stations may include: 

• identifying livestock breeds 
• identifying equipment 
• identifying types of feed,
• judging meat/hay/wool,
• reading feed tags
• reading medicine labels 
• and more

This event will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Washington County Extension Education Center in Nashville. It is open to youth ages 8 and older as of 9.1.24. 

The program is free, but advance registration is required by April 10. Current 4-H families should register through their Zsuite account. New participants can register at go.illinois.edu/Livestock_Skillathon.
