Rhus aromatica
‘Grow Low’

Tough, deciduous shrub useful as a groundcover from flat open areas to slopes. Grows two feet tall. Prefers full sun to partial shade. Unique oak-like leaves that are fragrant when crushed. Flower in early spring with small yellow flowers before the foliage emerges. Space 3–4 feet apart. Woody perennial. Hardy in Zone 3.
