To conclude its fall 2025 Master Naturalist training, the class worked at Gladfelter Nature Preserve to remove autumn olive growing along the timber edge. Gladfelter has been used for Master Naturalist education and is part of a partnership with the local land trust Prairie Land Conservancy. Other activities at Gladfelter include invasive bush honeysuckle control, an inventory of woodland spring ephemeral flowers, and ongoing work in restoring the cool-season hay field to prairie.
