Jensen Woods Camp serves the West Central Illinois community through its outdoor youth programming. Master Naturalist volunteers have partnered with camp leadership/staff to help maintain the camp and keep the grounds clean. Through seasonal habitat work days, volunteers have removed invasive species and treated camp ponds. After invasive species removal, trails and camp activities can occur more easily and in a safer environment. Pictured is the after-effect of invasive species removal around the camp's pond.
