Bond County 4-H, in partnership with the Greenville Vet Clinic and Greenville University, invites local youth to participate in an exciting hands-on Equine Workshop at the Greenville University Barn. This educational event on March 28 at 9 a.m. is perfect for young people interested in horses, animal science, or future careers in veterinary medicine.

Participants will rotate through interactive learning stations to explore equine health, safe handling practices, and veterinary techniques. The workshop aims to build confidence around horses while offering real-world insights into animal care and science-based careers.

This event is open to 4-H members and to youth who are curious about joining 4-H and want to learn more about its opportunities.

The workshop is free, but advance registration is required by March 23, and space is limited. Register online at go.illinois.edu/4-H_Equine_Care
