Bond County 4-H Teen Leaders are excited to announce a spring event for Cloverbuds, a youth program for children aged 5-7 (as of 9/1/2024), to be held on Saturday, April 5, from 10:30 A.M. to Noon at the Central Township Building, located at 920 E Bowman, Greenville.

The theme of this special event will be Farm and Flowers, where the 4-H Teen Leaders will guide the young participants through a series of fun, educational activities at five different stations. This event promises experiences designed to spark creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Activity Stations Include:

  • Story and Craft: Children will listen to a delightful story and create their themed craft.
  • Gross Motor/Games: Fun and active games to get kids moving!
  • STEM Activity: Hands-on exploration to inspire young minds with science, technology, engineering, and math concepts.
  • Sensory Activity: Engaging activities that involve touch, smell, and more to enhance sensory development.
  • Snack: Enjoy a themed snack to refresh after the fun-filled morning.

This event allows children to interact with their peers, engage in hands-on learning, and immerse themselves in a delightful farm and flower-themed event. It also provides a chance for families to become more involved in the 4-H community.

Don’t miss out on this exciting spring workshop filled with learning and fun!

This program is free, but advance registration is required by April 2. Current 4-H families should register through their Zsuite account. New participants can register at go.illinois.edu/4HCloverbudsBCo. Please get in touch with the Illinois Extension Office in Bond County at 618-664-3665 for questions.

Bond County 4-H allows young people to explore their interests, develop life skills, and engage with their communities through hands-on learning experiences. With a focus on leadership, community service, and skill development, 4-H empowers youth to become confident, capable, and caring leaders.
