About Dr. Joy O'Keefe: Dr. Joy O'Keefe's research focuses on facilitating the coexistence of bats and humans in altered landscapes. She studies bat roosting and foraging, assesses bat behaviors, and works on effective mitigation practices to support bat populations. Her collaborations span private landowners, the USDA Forest Service, the National Park Service, and various state agencies.
