Clinton County 4-H leader Jeana Brandmeyer Buscher has been inducted into the 2026 Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame, recognizing her outstanding dedication to youth development and community service.
The Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame honors volunteers and former staff members who have demonstrated exemplary service to the University of Illinois Extension 4-H youth development program or achieved notable career and community success. Inductees are nominated by county Illinois Extension staff and selected for their lasting impact on 4-H youth and communities across the state.
A former 11-year member of Clinton County 4-H, Buscher has continued her commitment to the program as a volunteer leader for the past 16 years. Her leadership focuses on education, engagement, and service, helping young people develop skills in parliamentary procedure, public speaking, teamwork, and leadership.
Through her dedication to mentoring youth and strengthening her community, Buscher has made a significant impact on generations of 4-H members, earning her recognition as a 2026 Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame inductee.
The Hall of Fame recognition ceremony was held during the Illinois State Fair in conjunction with the 4-H General Project Show. Illinois 4-H relies on more than 15,000 volunteers statewide to provide leadership, mentorship, and opportunities that prepare youth for future success.
