Spend the morning learning and having fun at the University of Illinois Extension Education Center & Community Teaching Kitchen by attending our Make and Take Apple Pie Filling Class. Susan Glassman, Nutrition and Wellness Educator, will teach about using a water-bath canner, and canning safely. Gain hands-on experience as we wash, peel, chop, measure, cook, and process Apple Pie Filling together. Take home a jar and recipes to enjoy.
This class is for those that are beginners or seasoned preservers! A $15.00 fee will cover the purchase of supplies. All you have to bring is yourself! Class size is limited to 8.
