Morgan Jones graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications, along with a minor in Animal Science. She launched her career in Extension in March 2023 as the Moultrie-Douglas 4-H Program Coordinator and transitioned in January 2024 to become the Marketing Coordinator for Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Moultrie, and Shelby counties.

Growing up in Tuscola, Illinois, Morgan’s background in raising and showing cattle has deeply rooted her in the agricultural community. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Agricultural Communications from the University of Illinois while managing Southland Design Company, her own graphic design and photography business. In addition, Morgan works part-time for Sale Ring Live, traveling across the country to assist with livestock sales—further fueling her passion for the livestock industry.

Outside of work, you’ll likely find Morgan at a cattle show or honing her photography skills, capturing the beauty of rural life. She is dedicated to creatively sharing the story of Extension and is eager to highlight the positive impact Illinois Extension makes in communities.
