2021 Greene County Grocery Survey

Between 2019-2021 three grocery stores closed in Greene County leaving only one store on the eastern edge of the county. University of Illinois Extension along with the Greene County Grocery Taskforce were interested in learning more about how these closures affected families in the region. 519 households responded to the survey providing information beneficial for businesses looking to expand or locate in the community, non-profits/agencies, churches, and local officials.
