Fiesta Pozole

Ingredients
  • 2 15.5 ounce cans hominy
  • 2 quarts water
  • 2.5 cups raw cubed pork with fat trimmed
  • 1 tablespoons red chile powder
  • 1 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1 teaspoons salt
Directions
  • Brown pork in large pan for about 2 to 4 minutes.
  • Add water and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil.
  • Reduce heat to medium and cover. Cook on medium heat for 1 hour.
