Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- ½ cup white rice
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- ¼ cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon oregano
Directions
- In a small saucepan, cook rice in oil over moderate heat for about 3 minutes. Add onion and garlic, stirring constantly for another minute or two.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low. Cover tightly and simmer for 15 minutes.
