Ingredients
1 pound lean ground turkey
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 medium or 1 large potato, about 1½ pounds thinly sliced
1 can (15.5 ounces) sloppy joe sauce
2 tablespoons water
Directions
- Crumble turkey into a non-stick skillet. Layer onions and potatoes. Cover with sloppy joe sauce.
- Cover and cook on medium heat 15-20 minutes, until meat is browned. With a rubber spatula, divide the mixture into sections than can be turned so the potatoes are on the bottom and the turkey on the top.
- Cover and cook an additional 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender. Add water as needed to prevent sticking.
