Roof mounted systems
- How large is your roof and what direction is your roof facing?
- What is the slope of your roof?
- Is your roof shaded from nearby trees?
- How old is your roof? Think about the condition of your roof and shingles, and make necessary repairs/replacements. Remember that solar panels are warrantied at 25 years
- Can your root support the weight of a solar system?

- What is the terrain of the land where you would like to install the ground mount?
- How will you manage the ground underneath?
- Do you want a fixed or moveable mount?
- Is there shading from nearby trees or buildings?
