Are you a farmer looking to connect with other farmers involved in IL-EATS?
Join the IL-EATS Farmer Network! In this farmer-focused network, we’ll build connections, share program updates, provide information on grant and educational opportunities, and more!
Meetings are hosted virtually by Illinois Extension on the third Wednesday of the month from 6-7 pm. Upcoming sessions are November 20, January 15, February 19, and March 19. We can't wait to see you there!
What's in store for the November meeting?
On November 20 from 6-7 PM, we'll hear from two community organizations distributing fresh, nourishing foods through the IL-EATS program. The St. Elizabeth Center Food Pantry in Rockford, Illinois, and the Sheldon Heights Food Pantry in Chicago, Illinois, will share a behind-the-scenes look at how their food pantry operates and what the fresh, local foods produced by farmers like YOU for IL-EATS have meant to the neighbors they serve.
