Cooking 101

4‑H Cooking 101 is an introductory program designed for youth who are excited to learn their way around the kitchen! Participants will explore the basics of nutrition, food preparation skills, and food safety while preparing simple, hands‑on recipes each session.

Youth will also learn the recipes, guidelines, and exhibit requirements needed to participate in the General Projects Show, helping them feel confident and prepared to showcase what they’ve learned.
