Calling all young nature enthusiasts! Join Bond County 4-H this fall for the Junior Master Naturalist program and explore the natural world through hands-on learning and outdoor discovery.
Beginning Tuesday, September 29, participants will join portions of the Illinois Master Naturalist Training to learn from Extension educators and local experts. Youth will investigate topics including forestry, birds, insects, wildlife, Illinois rivers and watersheds, soils, and more while building an appreciation for the environment and developing stewardship skills.
Program Dates: Tuesdays, September 29 – October 27, plus Saturday, November 7 for our end of course celebration
Time: 5:30–7 p.m.
Location: Patriot's Park, 1000–1010 Patriot's Park, Greenville, IL
This program is open to youth who enjoy spending time outdoors and are eager to learn about Illinois' natural resources through interactive activities.
