Entrance Garden

The West Entrance Garden is a demonstration garden designed to show the home gardener that you can have a low-maintenance garden with seasonal interest. It is a pollinator-friendly alternative to a lawn, which includes native plants within a naturalistic, landscaped design. All plants in this design are shorter to allow a full view of the Idea Garden from its west entrance area. 

These basic principles will be followed:

• Plants will be watered only until they are established.
• Responsible Integrated Pest Management practices will be followed.
• The grass will mowed infrequently; the variety used is a low-mow type.
