4-H Entrepreneurs!

LaSalle County Entrepeneurs

4-H is creating future entrepreneurs one step at a time. The GEAR UP girl’s empowerment group recently enjoyed learning about being an entrepreneur with LaSalle County 4-H Youth Development Coordinator, Toni Pienta. In addition to enjoying motivational presentations from local business entrepreneurs, participants learned how to make a pitch for a product or service and the steps necessary to create a business plan. Many inspiring hopes and dreams were shared as young entrepreneurs planned their future business and service.

In addition to the Entrepreneurship program, 4-H offers a variety of programs in Leadership, Career Readiness, Building Your Future, Financial Literacy and many others. To learn more about LaSalle County 4-H clubs and other opportunities call University of Illinois Extension, LaSalle County 815-433-0707 or email Toni Pienta.
