4-H fun at the farmers market begins this month in Princeton

If you’ve visited the Princeton Farmers Market and wished there was something for your child(ren) to do, now is your chance to participate in 4-H Fun at the Farmers Market.  Once a month, Bureau County 4-H will be present with a free activity for kids to create while their parents/guardians shop the market.  While activities are open to all ages, most are geared toward ages 5-12.

Be sure to visit the University of Illinois Extension 4-H tent on June 4, July 2, August 20, September 3, and October 15 from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm at Soldiers and Sailors Park.  Activities will include decorating market bags, creating pocket greenhouses, exploring bee pollination, making sun catchers and completing a pumpkin plate lacing craft.
