4-H Seeks Leadership for Established Ohio Club

Do you have a passion, skill, or talent that you would like to share with young people?  As a 4-H volunteer, you can share your skills and experience to help transform a new generation of confident, young leaders. This is your chance to make a change, to be the spark that inspires a generation. You can make a difference in the lives of young people by teaching them skills that they can use the rest of their lives.

An established Bureau County 4-H club, the Ohio Windmillers is seeking an adult leader to empower and prepare youth for success as 4-H members.  Today’s 4-H youth are engaged in learning activities as they are practicing skills employers want; growing and distributing food to communities in need; stewarding the natural resources; making a difference in local, state, national, and global issues; and influencing positive choices for healthy living. None of that would be possible without our Volunteers.

If you feel you would be a good fit for 4-H, either through the Ohio Windmillers 4-H club, or are interested in starting your own club, please contact Danielle Gapinski, 4-H and Youth Development Program Coordinator, at 815-875-2878 or by e-mail des85@illinois.edu.

The Mission of University of Illinois Extension is to provide practical education you can trust to help people, businesses and communities solve problems, develop skills and build a better future.
