“Agricultural Mental Health and Stress Management” program to be held on February 27

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS EXTENSION – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit

Information for ag producers, landlords, ag industry representatives and others interested, will be provided at the “Agricultural Mental Health and Stress Management” program on February 27, provided by University of Illinois Extension on the IVCC campus, 815 North Orlando Smith Road, Oglesby. The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. in Room CTC 125. There is no cost to attend. Advance registration is requested by February 25 by calling 815-875-2878.

Dr. Josephine Rudolphi, University of Illinois Extension Specialist in Rural Mental Health, and Kerri Donahue, RN,BSN, Health Promotion Specialist with St. Margaret’s Hospital, will present information and resources to assist individuals and others in addressing stress management. Various influences, including the uncertainty due to economic and environmental conditions of production agriculture, can create stress for those involved. Join us to learn more about addressing concerns.
