Join Bureau County Home and Community Education (HCE) and University of Illinois Extension for a webinar workshop about arthritis and inflammation.  The Basics of Arthritis will be offered on February 11, 2020, at 10:00 AM at the University of Illinois Extension Bureau County Extension Office, 850 Thompson Street, Princeton, IL. 

Enjoy our newest webinar topic - hot off the press, and a food demonstration.  Susan Glassman, MS Ed, Nutrition and Wellness Educator will demonstrate how to make a healthy berry pie, with samples to taste. 

Arthritis is a condition in which one or more of your joints become inflamed, often leading to stiffness, soreness and in some cases swelling. This disease affects the lives of more than 54 million adults in the US with more than 21 million having osteoarthritis. However, did you know certain lifestyle changes could help improve your joint health, as well as help to prevent, relieve and manage its symptoms?

During this workshop, we will provide an overview of the three most common types of arthritis and insight into the most common type of arthritis, osteoarthritis. Join HCE and University of Illinois Extension as we share how a healthy lifestyle can help improve your joint health, as well as manage your osteoarthritis.

Again, The Basics of Arthritis will be offered at University of Illinois Extension Bureau County Extension Office, 850 Thompson Street, Princeton, IL on February 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM.  The workshop will last until 11:30 AM.  The public is welcome!
