UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS EXTENSION – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit

University of Illinois Extension - Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit and the Bureau County Farm Bureau, invites those interested to attend “Bee Production Management Night”. The program is taking place on Thursday, January 23, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bureau County Extension Office, 850 Thompson Street, Princeton. To register, please call the Extension office at 815-875-2878 by 4:30 p.m. on January 22. There is no cost to attend.

Topics to be covered include general production, diseases of bees, marketing honey and hive maintenance. Expert speakers addressing the group will be: Anthony Gedritis, University of Illinois Extension Master Naturalist; Bill Cunico, Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association; and Doug Gucker, University of Illinois Extension Local Foods and Small Farms Educator.
