“Estate Planning for Agriculture” program to be held on February 25th

UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS EXTENSION – Bureau, LaSalle, Marshall, Putnam Unit

 

Join University of Illinois Extension and the LaSalle County Farm Bureau on February 25 for the “Estate Planning for Agriculture” program. The program will be held at 7:00 p.m. at University of Illinois Extension – LaSalle County Office, 1689 N. 31st Road, Ottawa.

Presentations will be provided by: Jim McCabe, Farm Business Farm Management, Fieldman; Chris Kline, Country Companies, Estate Specialist; and Tim Harris, Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers. Topics to be covered include: how to minimize economic impact of estate tax on our families, new estate tax rules, planning an estate around taxation, and what Federal and State estate taxation does for future generation legacy.

Advance registration is required by February 24 by calling the Extension office at 815-433-0707.
