Families Invited to Discover the World of 4-H

Families interested in learning more about 4-H are invited to attend the Discover 4-H Open House on Thursday, November 20, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Rolland Lewis Community Building in Mt. Vernon.

This free, come-and-go event is designed for youth and families who want to explore everything 4-H has to offer. Participants can visit interactive activity stations highlighting some of the program's most popular project areas, including STEM, animal science, agriculture, nature and environmental education, and creative arts.

Whether youth are interested in science experiments, caring for animals, exploring the outdoors, developing leadership skills, or creating hands-on projects, 4-H offers opportunities to learn, grow, and connect with others while having fun.

Current 4-H members are encouraged to invite a friend to attend. Members who bring a guest will be entered into a prize drawing.

"Not sure what 4-H is? Come find out!" Organizers invite families to bring their curiosity and discover the many experiences available through the 4-H program.

The event is open to all youth and their families. No registration is required.
