Free Tweens Pop-Up Walking Club Being Offered at the Henry Public Library

Connect with nature and healthy lifestyles this summer! Join the adventure and the fun at the University of Illinois Extension Pop-Up Walking Club for Tweens. With Extension staff, youth, ages 8-12, will have fun on walking adventures and learn to count their steps along the way.  Chat with us about good nutrition and living a healthy lifestyle. Have fun creating craft projects and take home a snack at each meeting. Masks and social distancing will be practiced.

The Tweens Pop-Up Walking Club will meet outside at the Henry Public Library, 702 Front Street, June 21, 23 & 25, 2021, from 1:30 – 3:00 PM. The club is an outdoor event.  

There is no cost to attend.  Advance registration is required and due by June 11, 2021.  To register, please call University of Illinois Extension at 815-224-0889.
