LaSalle Public Library to Host University of Illinois Extension Live Virtual Demonstration “Making a Holiday Centerpiece”.

On Tuesday, December 1 at 6:00 p.m., the LaSalle Public Library will be virtually hosting University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Natalie Martin as she demonstrates how to make a beautiful holiday centerpiece. Make a centerpiece to brighten up your home using items that you might already have around your house!  Natalie will walk you through the creative process, resulting in a festive winter centerpiece. Take items like pine cones, fabric, winter evergreens (fake or real), holiday ornaments, and children’s crafts, and turn them into a fun, DIY creation! At the end of the program, Natalie will answer audience questions via live chat.

This program is free, open to the public, and will be presented in an easy-to-use virtual format. Interested individuals will need to email Rachael Blomquist at the LaSalle Public Library at rblomquist@lasalle.lib.il.us in order to register and receive the link to the program and viewing instructions. You may also contact Meg E. Overocker, University of Illinois Extension Program Coordinator, at meo@illinois.edu if you have any questions, or call our University of Illinois LaSalle County Extension Office at 815.433.0707.
