4-H recognizes that youth are an important resource in our communities. 4-H doesn’t teach youth to be leaders someday in the future; 4-H places youth in meaningful leadership roles today and surrounds them with caring, supportive adults. One way to grow into a leader is through 4-H Federation.
Bureau County will be hosting a Federation Kick Off on Thursday, October 28th from 4:30 – 5:30 pm at the University of Illinois Extension conference room, 850 Thompson St., Princeton. Youth ages 13 – 18 interested in gaining leadership and community service experience, while having fun, are invited to attend.
