Is local wildlife trying to make itself at home in your home?

Falling leaves and dropping temperatures signal prime time for local wildlife invasion. Area wildlife may start to look at your property when seeking a cozy winter home. Attractants like bird seed, warm sheds, and garages might seem appealing. Educator, Laurie George will present “Wildlife at Home and in Landscapes” October 28, 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Learn about local wildlife, and the benefit they provide to your local surroundings, along with their usual habitats, how we can reduce conflict with wildlife, and regulations and laws you need to consider when dealing with wildlife near your home.

Following the presentation, Master Naturalist, Sue Broeckling will demonstrate the proper way to set a live trap and just as important, how to release.  She will also cover what to do if you catch a skunk. There will be time for your questions too.

This program is free of charge, but registration is required at https://extension.illinois.edu/bcjmw to receive webinar log on information.
