Spend the morning learning having some fun at the University of Illinois Extension 
Education Center & Community Teaching Kitchen with our Make and Take Peach Apple Salsa 
Class.

 
Susan Glassman, Nutrition and Wellness Educator, will teach how to can fruits and 
vegetables safely using a water-bath canner. Gain hands-on experience as we wash, peel, 
chop, measure, cook, and process Peach Apple Salsa together. Take home a jar to enjoy.

  
This class is for those that are just learning or seasoned preservers! A $15.00 fee will 
cover the purchase of supplies.  All you have to bring is yourself! Class size is limited to 12.  

 
Make and Take Peach Apple Salsa will be at the University of Illinois Extension 
Education Center & Community Teaching Kitchen, 944 First Street, LaSalle, on August 21,
