Kara Boozer is a SNAP-Ed educator serving Bond, Clinton, Jefferson, Marion, and Washington counties. Kara’s work addresses nutrition security through school wellness policy interventions, food pantry education, and local food access. Kara graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education and Animal Science. She completed her master’s degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign in Agriculture Education.
