Kara Boozer

Kara Boozer is a SNAP-Ed educator serving Bond, Clinton, Jefferson, Marion, and Washington counties. Kara manages policy, system changes, and environmental interventions in local food pantries, schools, and food-insecure communities by making the healthy choice the easy choice. Kara’s work addresses nutrition security through school wellness policy interventions, food pantry education, and local food access. Kara graduated from Southern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education and Animal Science. She completed her master’s degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign in Agriculture Education.
