This year's Tri-State Forest Stewardship Conference is being held as a field day at Mississippi Palisades State Park in Savanna, IL on May 21st from 9:40 am - 3:00pm.  Topics covered include traditional woodland management techniques, invasive species ecology and ID, prescribed woodland fire, forest wildlife management, and soils and soil erosion in woodlands.

Registration is $30 per person and includes lunch.

The conference is sponsored by the University of Illinois Extension Forestry Program and Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
