Join us on December 6 as we hike the Cove Hollow Trail on the west side of Cedar Lake southwest of Carbondale. We'll watch for wildlife and learn tree and plant identification skills along the way. The hike will be approximately 4 miles out and back and is moderately difficult. More information on the trail can be found here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/media/192641 Parking is limited at the trailhead, so we will meet at the Murdale Shopping Center parking lot in Carbondale at 9:00am to carpool to the trailhead. Participants should wear sturdy footwear and bring their own water.
Please call or email Kevin Rohling at krohling@illinois.edu or 217-244-3222 (no text messages accepted at this number) to ask questions or request reasonable accommodation.
