Becoming a Junior Master Gardener is a perfect fit for youth interested in gardening—whether flowers, vegetables, or landscaping. This hands-on, 6-week program provides research-based education that empowers participants to grow their gardening skills and share their knowledge with others. Youth will take part in interactive activities that they can apply at home or in their community.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained valuable gardening knowledge, grown their own produce, and developed confidence in caring for plants. Youth will be encouraged to attend our Seed to Salsa Workshop, where they will use their harvested produce to make their own salsa.
