Cooking 101

4-H Cooking 101 School is a fun, hands-on learning experience for youth interested in building confidence in the kitchen! Held June 29 – July 1 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Greenville, this multi-day program will introduce participants to the basics of nutrition, food safety, and essential cooking skills.

Throughout the week, youth will prepare simple recipes each day while learning how to measure ingredients, follow directions, and safely use kitchen tools. Participants will also gain an understanding of the recipes, guidelines, and exhibit expectations for the General Projects Show, helping them feel prepared and confident to showcase their work at the fair.
