Fresh herbs are a fantastic addition to our diets. Sage, oregano, and garlic are terrific on meats. Arugula, cilantro, chervil, parsley, nasturtiums, dill, and lemon grass are amazing salad enhancers. Curry, basil, marjoram, and rosemary make our sauces taste delicious. Preserving herbs allows the home cook to use them year-round. Herbs can be dried in various ways and frozen as well. Many herbs are also handsome additions to flower gardens, providing scents as well as attractive shapes and textures.
