February Meal Tip

February is Heart Health Month and what better way to make your heart happy than with a bowl of fresh, colorful berries? Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries are loaded with Vitamin C, potassium and fiber. Not only do berries taste great and are full of these vitamins and minerals, but they also help prevent cancer and protect against heart disease. Add fresh or frozen berries to yogurt, cereal or add them to a smoothie. They’re also great to eat by the handful! Check your local grocery store’s weekly sale ad to see which berries are on sale and stock up!
